Elon Musk considers potentially dangerous artificial intelligence

In a tweet, Musk said he was reading Superintelligence, Nick Bostrom we need to be very careful with the Al. Potentially more dangerous than nuclear weapons, said Musk. Bostrom is a researcher who joined a group in Oxford and dedicated to the study of humanity's future and how nanotechnology, robotics or artificial intelligence may one day end up with the man, reports Business Insider.

Bostrom explains that there are several threats and that we should be afraid of new technologies for the right reasons. The threat level is enormous and we are talking about threats to the very survival of life on Earth, not with the State we're in right now, but if we hit a sort of artificial super-intelligence, wrote Bostrom.

The complete study of Bostrom, Superintelligence, must be published during the next September. There, the investigator seems to put all his reticence in the face of artificial intelligence and leave the alert for a possible field of this technology on all the rest.

Musk, recalled, invested a few weeks ago in Vicarious, a company that is developing products and services based on artificial intelligence.
