The judge opens the phase of liquidation of Bodaclick and declares dissolved the firm

The commercial court number 11 in Madrid has opened the phase of liquidation of Bodaclik and the entity, has declared dissolved as he has published on Thursday the official State Bulletin (BOE). In particular, the judge has agreed suspension of faculties administration and disposition company, at the time that their duties has ceased its administrators, who will be replaced by the bankruptcy administration.


Now, within the period of fifteen days from the notification of the decision, the bankruptcy administration will present a plan for the realization of the assets and rights embedded in the active mass of the company. This decision is a further blow to the alternative stock market (MAB), following the scandal of Gowex.

Bodaclick shares were suspended contributions in February, when marked priced at 0.47 euros, when he made his debut at a price of 2.78 euros in June 2010. Then, now CEO of OHL and Exteriores former Minister Josep Piqué was its President and responsible for bring it to bag.

Bodaclick presented the request for the opening of the stage of liquidation, after requesting the voluntary insolvency proceedings on February 14 "with a temporary situation of illiquidity" in early July.

The liquidation or sale extends to all subsidiaries of the group, as he said recently the company, which also pointed out that this decision comes despite the measures taken by administrators and materialized in two restructuring plans implemented in 2012 and 2013, aimed at overcoming the negative consequences to the business caused by the global economic crisis and competition on the Internet.

However, the firm continues to provide service to all customers in order to achieve a plan of liquidation that will allow the continuation of the activity in all of the countries in which they operate. The decision to apply for the opening of the liquidation phase was adopted unanimously by the Board of Directors held on July 2.
