Alienware announces the Area-51, a desktop extra-terrestrial

Alienware is recognized within the computer market by launching desktop equipment of high quality and high specifications, and has recently introduced its new desktop, the Area-51.

The Area-51 has a different design from that used in most products currently on the market. The tower itself has an irregular Hexagon format, to which Alienware dubbed Triad. Their designers indicate that this format of the Tower eases access to optical drives and air circulation inside the equipment even if it is against the wall, because it has several air intakes split between the sides that are positioned strategically to ensure the stability of the system. The predominant color is black although it outlines blue and its weight is around 20 Kg.


If you need to move into the Area-51 you can rely on your indoor lighting to ease the task. There is also external lighting with nine zones that can be configured to, for example, change color when you perform certain actions.

However the real attributes of the Alienware Area-51 are in hardware and in this case, is provided with motherboard with Intel chipset X 99, comes with watercooler and support system to 32 GB DDR4. Can be purchased with Intel Core 17-5960X of 8 cores to 3.0 GHz and 20 MB L3 cache, Intel Core 17-5930K of 6 cores the 3.5 GHz and 15 MB L3 cache, and processors are unlocked for easy overclocking, however the whole machine is fully customized, so that the user can acquire all the pieces you need depending on your needs.

All models are also equipped with wired network card Killer so that there is minimal lag when playing online and wireless 802.11 network card ac.

Alienware has not yet indicated the price of this true "alien", although that should reach the world market between October and December of this year.
