What will be left of humanity: holes and tunnels

In the imagination of many, the last vestiges of humanity are skeletons, buildings in ruins or toxic deposits. In fact, according to a survey cited by Anthtropocene, Jan Zalasiewick explains that we have already made significant changes in the Earth's crust and that these changes will be our brand more permanent.

Animals, to build their dens, give an important contribution to that geologists can classify the geological age of certain areas. The process of constructing Burrows is imitated by human being, albeit at a larger scale. Researchers say even if there is no analogous process in the entire history of our planet. Currently, scientists estimate that if you add together the length of all existing holes on Earth, would be to go from Earth to Mars. For each living human there is a hole of almost seven feet, explains the Gizmodo.

This form of alteration of the terrestrial crust is the one that has the greatest potential to last, even after dying the last human being. Everything indicates that even the tunnels that will expose our presence on the planet.
