Facebook wants to take Oculus Rift to Hollywood

Facebook recently had a series of meetings with directors and responsible for the Hollywood film studios to discuss the possibility of being created content specific to the Oculus Rift, the virtual reality equipment that Mark Zuckerberg's company acquired this year.

The news was advanced by the The Information and reveals that the idea for Facebook is to start by developing "Oculus experiences", in which specific content will be presented for this platform before the usual presentation of the movie for which you purchased ticket. The chance to advance to the realization of films specially designed for Oculus Rift is, for now, unanswered.

These talks were exploratory and the process is still at an early stage. But it should be noted that, at this year's Comic Con, HBO, 20th Century Fox and New Line Studios, among others, did demonstrations of content for these virtual reality glasses.
